#Dispatch 003: re-tipping the balance
Life and work - the positive effects of finding equilibrium and how to do it.
I type out a reply to an email, click send and practically run out of the house to get there in time for school pick up. As is quite commonly the case, I have left the house a few mins later than I need to, I will have to break into a sweat to get there in time.
The work-life juggle is real and I count myself as one of the luck ones - I work as a freelancer around family-life.

😔 Almost half of people are dissatisfied with the flexibility of their working hours.

Common conversations topics among parents include the scramble for after school childcare places, the expense of said places and the difficulty of finding work that fits around the school day so as not to need said childcare.

In good mental health
In good physical health
Harvard Business Review reports that those who are able to make time for hobbies are “substantially better at their jobs”. They are more likely to work creatively and to feel confident, control and relaxed.
